It is hard to believe that another year is coming to a close. For many of us, time seems to be slipping through our fingers since Covid took hold of the world. One of the reasons for this may be because we are all constantly wanted things to move forward and life to return to some normality. I keep trying to halt – and seize the day 🙂
However, here on Blogable we had an excellent year. Lots of content was produced at the start and then we participated in the April A to Z. Which was indeed a challenge but some wonderful blogging, writing tips and advice are now in the archive.
The cherry on the blogable cake was definitely the Fiction Marathon. We are so happy that it was a roaring success. Thanks to the writers, the jury and the supporters, who read and voted. Many also took the time to provide the writers with invaluable feedback too.
Once again, congratulations to all who entered for being brave enough to push themselves and be judged in a competition. And massive congratulations to Marsha for taking the top spot.
Blogable Changes
Blogable very much has its eye on 2022. We can assure you the Fiction Marathon will be taking place again. As long as we have the writers, we will also have a great competition. However, there will be some changes on this site in general.
Over the year we have taken a look at what works and how we want to move forward. The idea we have is to streamline Blogable somewhat, so have decided that all the posts should be available for anyone to read. This will mean it is not necessary to sign up to be a member. Although, we want to thank all those that did this and supported the project from the start. It means a lot to us.
We will also get rid of the forums and use the comments’ area, on individual posts, as a place for discussion. However, one thing we think worked well was the amazing guest posts from many of you. We will still have the facility for you to contribute in that way, and will actively encourage it. Your knowledge and experience as bloggers and writers can help others in so many ways.
For all these changes to happen, we need to put the site in maintenance mode. As soon as it is up and running, we will post again with further news.
